# Trainual + ADP Workforce Now Integration

## Learn how to maximize the power of your Trainual and ADP Workforce Now platforms by connecting them in-app to increase your productivity.

Automate how you take people from just hired to fully onboarded with Trainual’s ADP Workforce Now integration. With this connection, ADP Workforce Now will automatically make your team list available for you to send invites from your Trainual account, so your main focus can be centered on assigning out the content your teammates need ASAP!

- This feature is only available under select subscriptions. [**Reach out to support directly**](https://help.trainual.com/en/articles/7974748-contact-trainual?hsLang=en) to see if your plan qualifies. 
- You will need to have an Admin+ [**permission level**](https://help.trainual.com/en/articles/5589497-permission-levels?hsLang=en) in Trainual *and* an administrative access level in your ADP Workforce Now platform for set up.

### To initially connect ADP Workforce Now to Trainual:

1. **Expand** **the** "**Marketplaces**" **options tab** from the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Select "**Integrations**."
3. Search for the “**ADP Workforce Now**” listing.
4. Open the page and click on the “**Connect Your ADP Workforce Now Account**” button to begin the process for the very first time.
5. Read through the listed documentation on the first pop-up window. By clicking the "**Continue**" **button**, you *agree* to all listed **[Terms of Service](https://tryfinch.com/legal/terms)** and **[End User Privacy Policy](https://tryfinch.com/legal/privacy)** information.
6. **Grant permission to Trainual** on the next page to access the directory, individual data, and employment information you have listed on your ADP Workforce Now account by pressing the “**Continue**” **button**.
7. **Sign in** with your **ADP Workforce Now credentials** and hit the red "**Next Step**" **button** to proceed.
8. **Review and complete the two payroll system Admin steps** listed on the final page. Once these actions are complete, click the "**I've read and completed the instructions**" **checkbox** and push the "**Complete**" **button** to finalize.

 

📝 **Please note:** You will need to wait 10 minutes for the integration changes to show in the account settings, but that's it for the first part. Well done! 😉

### To invite ADP Workforce Now teammates to Trainual:

1. **Expand** **the** "**Account**" **options tab** from the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Select "**Manage users**."
3. Click the **drop-down menu arrow** to the right of the “**Add teammate**” button and click “**ADP Workforce Now User Import**.”
4. Click the checkbox to the left of each teammate you’d like to add to your Trainual account. **To select them all at once**, click the checkbox next to “**Import**” on the top left. 
5. **Choose an email *and* permission level** for each person you’re adding using the drop-down menus to the right of their name. And remember...
   
     - To add someone using the ADP Workforce Now importer, a teammate must have an email address listed on file in your ADP platform.
     - To double-check that your Trainual plan subscription has enough **[remaining seat invites](https://help.trainual.com/en/articles/6232756-adjusting-the-number-of-seats-in-your-subscription?hsLang=en)** before attempting to import new users.
6. **Choose one of the following options to finalize your updates**:
   
     - Add these teammates to your account, and send them invite emails now by clicking the "**Import & invite**" button.
     - Add these teammates to your account *without* sending them invite emails by clicking the “**Import & invite later**" button.

 

📝 **Please note**: This integration is ***not an automated process***, meaning every time you add someone new to your ADP Workforce Now account, they will *not* be automatically invited to join your Trainual account. You will need to go through the import process listed above each time you would like to import a new teammate from ADP Workforce Now into Trainual.

### To disconnect from the ADP Workforce Now integration:

1. **Expand** **the** "**Marketplaces**" **options tab** from the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Select "**Integrations**."
3. Search for the “**ADP Workforce Now**” listing.
4. Open the page and click on the "**Disconnect**" **button** to begin the process.
