### How to add tools to your list:
1. **Click** "**Software & tools**" from the left-hand navigation menu.
2. **Add a tool** using one of the options outlined below.

- **Option #1:** Use the popular options carousel to quickly find common tools.
- Spot something you use? Click the "We use this" button to add it instantly.
- **Option #2:** Search for other tools or create a custom tool by clicking the "+ Add new tool" button.
- In the pop-up window, select a matched search, or if no search results are found, you can select your typed entry as a custom tool.
- Hit "Add tool" to apply your change.

### Add a tool launch button:
Get your employees back into their workflows faster with a one-click launch button!
1. **Open a tool** from your list.
2. **Click the three dots** next to the tool's name.
3. Type the tool’s website link into the"**Software URL**" **textbox**.
4. **Hit the** "**Save**" **button** to apply your change.

1. **Open a tool** from your list.
2. **Identify** the software owners, the [**groups**](https://help.trainual.com/en/articles/8190371-groups?hsLang=en) that use this tool, and any related content that should be connected.
3. **Add** **the identified owners, [groups](https://help.trainual.com/en/articles/8190371-groups?hsLang=en)**, **and content** by using the right-hand panel.
- Click the "Manage" buttons or the "Connect" drop-down arrow and follow the remaining system prompts.

### FAQs:
***If I add a tool to this page, does it integrate that tool with Trainual?***
No. Adding a tool on the*Software & tools*page does *not* automatically create an integration. You’ll still need to set up your [**integrations**](https://help.trainual.com/en/integrations?hsLang=en) separately.
***Will my Trainual integrations show up automatically on the Software & tools page?***
Your tools will need to be manually added to the *Software & tools* page at this time, however, this type of automation is on our roadmap. Stay tuned!
***Can I add machinery, equipment, or custom tools to the Software & tools page?***
Absolutely! You can add anything your team needs — software, equipment, machinery, or [**custom-built tools**](https://help.trainual.com/en/software-and-tools#custom-tools).
***How do I add a logo or image to my custom tools?***
1. **Open the tool panel** for the custom tool you'd like to update.
2. **Locate and click on the three dots** next to the name of your custom tool.
3. **Select** "**Edit**" from the menu.
4. **Click on the grey image placeholder** next to the custom tool name.
5. **Hit the** "**Select logo**" **button** in the pop-up window.
6. **Choose your preferred file** from your desktop.
7. **Hit the** "**Save**" **button** **twice** — on the pop-up window and under the tool panel.
📝 **Please note:** For best results, upload a square logo (120x120, 1:1 ratio) with a transparent or solid background. Since circular avatars crop rectangular logos, we recommend using a simplified, icon-style version (think [**favicon**](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon#Examples_of_favicons)) for a cleaner fit.
