Now, your HR and payroll can be streamlined right along with your training. With the Namely integration, you’ll have the ability to quickly add people in your Namely account to your Trainual account, so no one is left out in the cold.

The Namely integration is only available under select subscriptions. Reach out to support directly to see if your plan qualifies. 📧
Admins can set up and manage this feature.
To connect to Namely from Trainual:
Expand the Account options from the left-hand navigation menu and choose "Integrations."
Search for “Namely.”
Hit the “Connect Your Namely Account” button to begin.
Review the Terms of Service and select “Continue” to agree.
Grant Trainual permission to access your Namely data by clicking “Continue.”
Input your subdomain and API Token, then press "Sign In". Directions to create an API token are outlined on this step window.
📝 Please note: If you receive the error message "Invalid subdomain," it is likely you are inputting the entire Namely URL link, instead of the specified subdomain information. Refer to Namely's example in the text box, <subdomain>.namely.com, to identify that unique piece of account data.Optional: Prefer a different way to complete the connection? "Use a Username and Password instead" by clicking on that button at the bottom of that window. You'll be prompted to enter your login credentials instead of an API Token.
Finish the connection by pressing “Invite my team.”
Voilà! Your connection is complete. 🎉
To invite teammates to Trainual using Namely:
Click on "People," then "Manage" from your left-hand navigation menu.
Locate the arrow next to the "Add teammate" button.
Open that drop-down menu by clicking on the arrow and choose the “Namely User Import” option.
Click the checkbox to the left of each teammate you’d like to add to your Trainual account. To select them all, hit the checkbox next to “Import” on the top left.
Choose an email and permission level for each person you’re adding using the drop-downs to the right of their name.
🚨 To add someone using Namely, they must have an email address on file in Namely. You'll also want to make sure your Trainual plan has enough remaining invites before attempting to import new users.
To add teammates to your account and send them invitation emails, click "Import and invite." To add teammates to your account without sending them invitations, click “Import & invite later.”
📝 Please note: The Namely integration is not automated. Meaning, every time you add someone to your Namely account, they will not be auto-populated to your Trainual account. You will need to go through the invite process each time you would like to import teammates from Namely.
To disconnect from Namely:
Expand the Account options from the left-hand navigation menu and choose "Integrations."
Search for the “Namely” integration and click “Disconnect” to proceed.
