      Adjust Your Trainual Subscription Seats

      Learn how to keep your seats aligned with headcount.


      Add seats as your team grows or remove them when they’re no longer needed, keeping access (and costs) in check with your current employee lineup.

      👉 Before you start:

      • Only Billing Admins have control over a Trainual plan and seat adjustments.

      • If you signed up with Trainual before July 28th, 2025, your Trainual seat experience will be different. Please reach out to support for more details.

      • For more specifics around which areas of the account and pieces of content your employees can access, review their permissions and subject access.

      Add more Trainual seats:

      1. Expand the "Account" options from the left-hand navigation menu.
      2. Select "Billing."
      3. Review your current "Seats" details under the "Overview" tab.



      4. Click on the "Add seats" button to the right.
      5. Enter the total number of seats you'd like to purchase. 



      6. Go through the updated "Payment summary" details to assess the pending prorated charges and changes to your billing. 
      7. Hit the "Confirm and purchase # seats" button to push through the update.


      📝 Please note: New seats are ready to use immediately, and you’ll only be charged a prorated amount based on the time left in your current billing cycle.

      Remove current Trainual seats:

      Reach out to our Support team with the number of seats you wish to reduce.

      📝 Please note: Reducing seats may result in a prorated credit or charge to your account based on the present standing of your subscription. Any credits received will automatically apply to upcoming Trainual payments until they are fully used.
