Trainual is not currently Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant, and there are no current plans to become HIPAA compliant in the foreseeable future.

If you belong to an industry where HIPAA compliance is required, you'll want to be careful not to include any Protected Health Information (PHI) directly in your Trainual account.

You can, however, still use Trainual for other areas of your business, such as...

  • Instructional guides.

  • Training material.

  • General reference material.

  • And more! πŸŽ‰

πŸ“ Please note: Trainual always recommends chatting with a legal/compliance representative about whether linking or embedding from encrypted servers that contain PHI would be ok. βœ”οΈ

πŸ’‘ Here are a few more ideas on how you can use Trainual without HIPAA concerns:

  1. Onboarding new hires consistently and more efficiently with self-paced subjects.

  2. Recording the training progress of your team.

  3. Rolling out new policies, processes, and updates automatically.

  4. Housing company policies and procedures in one centralized location (opposed to individual Google Drives and desktops).
