The Home Page: Training

Learn how to start, resume, review, and complete your training from the Trainual "Home" page.



Visit the "Training" view on your Home page to see what content you've been assigned, track your personal learning, quickly open your favorites, and benchmark your progress against company-wide completions.

  • This feature is available under all Trainual plans.

  • All permission levels have access to their individual training Home page.


About your "Training" tabs:

Use these "Training" tabs for quick access to the content you need most! 

๐Ÿ“Œ To do: Jump right back into the training you still need to complete under this tab by hovering over any subject here and clicking the โ€œStartโ€ button that appears.

๐Ÿ”„ Recent: When you click the subject title link under the "Recent" tab, you are redirected to the last step you viewed within that specific subject.

โœ… Completed: Revisit the mandatory training youโ€™ve completed to date by hovering over any subject here and clicking the โ€œReadโ€ button that appears.

๐Ÿ”Ž Reference: Get quick access to the optional content available to you by hovering over any subject here and clicking the "Read" button that appears

 


How your "To do" tab is organized:

On the Home page "Training" view, the items are listed in this default order:

  • Overdue content.
  • Recently updated content.

  • A training order that your company or trainers created.

To customize, you can hit the arrows in the right-hand corner of your listed content to display it by system recommendations, progress, reading time, or alphabetically.

Check your "Training progress":

The top-right corner will display your personal "Training progress" and an overview of average company-wide completions.

personal training data will display:

  • The completion percentage of your training.

  • The total amount of subjects and documents you have remaining.

  • The number of tests to still be taken.

  • The estimated reading time you have left (based on written content).

Add content to your "Favorites" list: 

Want a faster way back to your most-used subjects? Add it to your "Favorite" list.

  1. Expand the "Content" options from the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Select "All content."

  3. Search for and locate the piece of content you'd like to favorite.
  4. Click the star icon next to the title.

Your favorited content will be listed on your "Training" view in the right-hand column.

๐Ÿ“ Please note: If you've saved the wrong info or no longer need quick access to a piece of content, simply unfavorite it and remove it from your list by clicking on the activated yellow star icon next to the title.


Grab your personal completion certificates:

Not familiar with this feature? ๐Ÿค” Click here: ๐Ÿ”— Completion Certificates.

  1. Open the "Completed" tab from the "Training" page Home view.

  2. Hover over the content title where the certificate was awarded.

  3. Click on the "Download certificate โ†“" link that appears and download or print your certificate, as needed.

FAQs:


Can you customize the tab order seen under the "Training" view?

These tabs cannot be customized. When you navigate to the "Training" view from the Home page, you'll see your "To do" list first, followed by the remaining four tabs. 


How many pieces of content will populate under each "Training" tab?

A total of 10 pieces of content. To see more, use the arrows toward the bottom of the page to continue to the next set of content. 


Can an Admin set the specific order of content for an individualโ€™s "Training" view?
Yes! Customize the order and cadence training is delivered to individual users by setting their training paths


Does the "reading time remaining" include test and video lengths in its calculation?

It only considers the time it will take to consume written content at this time.


How can I submit my feedback and ideas about features?
