You can set someone's permission level when first inviting them into your Trainual Account or edit their settings after they are an existing user.

To set the permission level for new People:

  1. Click "People" on the lefthand navigation bar.

  2. Click "Invite"

  3. After typing in the new user's email, press the dropdown menu underneath "Permission Level" and choose your desired permission level for this person.

  4. Click "Invite" to send an invitation email to your new user.

To set the permission level of existing People:

  1. Click "People" on the lefthand navigation bar.

  2. Click the three dots on the far righthand side of the user whose permission level you would like to change and click "Edit."

  3. Press the dropdown menu underneath "Permission Level" and choose your desired permission level for that user.

  4. Click "Save."

🔥 Tip: If you don't see the three dots on the far righthand side of your users, use the grey scrollbar at the bottom of the list of people to scroll to the right. The scrollbar is right above where the platform says, "Displaying" at the bottom of the page.

Please see the video below to watch how to set user permissions in action:

📝 Please Note: Only Billing Admins, Admins, and Managers can set the permission levels of other people who have a permission level that is equivalent to or lower than their own.

  • For example, Managers can set another person on their team to have a Manager permission level or lower; they will not be able to change the permission level of an Admin on their team.

  • This means that only Billing Admins can set another user in their account to have a Billing Admin permission level.
