Learn how to publish that amazing subject you just created so you can assign it out to your team.
You've got your subject ready and looking amazing. You just can't wait to get it out to your team and let that ship sail! ⛵️
Step 1 - Review the subject settings:
-
Navigate to the Content library and press the tab for Company, Policies, or Processes where the existing subject lives.
-
Click open the subject you want to publish.
-
From the subject editor screen, click the three dots and select "Edit subject settings."
-
Review the title, content page, subject owner, and description. Edit as needed.
-
Review each "Advanced subject setting." Turn them on or off as needed.
-
Click "Save."
-
Click the "Publish" button from the upper right-hand corner of the subject page.
-
Review all topic statuses and adjust accordingly.
-
Finalize your choice(s) by hitting either the "Publish as is" button or "Finish all and publish" button.
📝 Please note:
-
"Publish as is" will publish only the content marked as "Finished." As the remaining topics and tests are marked "Finished," they, too, will be published automatically.
-
If you try to manually mark a Topic or Test with no content - you will get an error message.
-
-
"Finish all and publish" will automatically mark all unfinished topics and tests as "Finished" and set them as published.
-
A message prompting you to "Assign users" will only appear if users still need to be assigned to the subject.
Notifications:
Assigned people will receive a notification via email in their daily digest and/or via the Trainual app, letting them know new content is available.
