Help maintain training quality control and compliance by setting recurring reminders to verify content accuracy. Through this practice, you can ensure that your content remains relevant, reliable, and aligned with your overall goals and objectives at all times.

πŸ‘‰ Before you start:

  • This feature option is available on all Trainual plans.

  • The information below is best suited for content creators. For more specifics around which areas of the account and pieces of content your employees can access, review their permissions and subject content access.

πŸ—‚οΈ Table of contents: Click on the arrow to view the different sections of this document and skip around to the parts you need.

To set a reminder date for content verification:

  1. Navigate to the Content page from the left-hand menu.

  2. Locate and open the subject you'd like to add a test under from the content section it is housed in β€” either Company, Policies, or Processes.

  3. Click the three-dot menu on the top right-hand side of the subject editing page.

  4. Choose "Edit subject settings" from the drop-down menu.

  5. Check the box for "Set a reminder to periodically verify content" under the "Advanced subject settings" area to turn this feature on.

  6. Select a timeframe in which the content will remain verified. Every time the amount of time selected has passed, the subject owner will be required to review and verify the content.

    1. Every 30 days.

    2. Every year.

    3. Custom.

  7. Click "Save" to apply this change.

Check the status of your set verifications:

βœ… Verified content:

When a subject is still within a verified timeframe, a pill on the subject editing page will display in light blue and will state that the information is "Verified content."

πŸ”˜ Click on the listed pill for more details about the verified content.

❌ Expired verification:

Once content has passed the set timeframe, the pill will display red and state that the information is β€œUnverified content.”

πŸ”˜ Click on the listed pill for more details about the expired verification.

FAQs

Why is the verify content feature setting greyed out/inaccessible?

Double-check that you have a subject owner selected. This feature puts that person in charge of the verification and cannot be set without this chosen person listed.
